I was born and grew up in Yokohama, Japan. When I was thirteen, my father’s work took my family to Argentina, then Paraguay, and Brazil. I lived there for five years and was greatly influenced by Latin American culture. My interest in bead design began fifteen years ago, having found a book written by Janet Cole while I was visiting my daughters in London. I enjoy creating things, especially when you can vary the style, proportions, and colors.
